Yeshivah Education for Special Students is an elementary school and junior high school for children with special education needs. For more than 20 years, YESS! has successfully provided children with learning differences and attention difficulties in grades K-8 with the opportunity to learn the skills they need to become competent and confident members of the Jewish community and the community at large.
YESS! is located at the mainstream Yeshiva of Central Queens, so that our students are in the mainstream whenever that is an appropriate component of their individualized education. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling are available individually and interwoven throughout the school day. Our first graduates are now college graduates with families, careers, and yeshivah or seminary educations. Read further to discover HOW we do it!
